Robert “Bob” Schroeter

With over 20 years of legal experience, Bob Schroeter has served as Washington State Assistant Attorney General, municipal legal counsel, and as Director of Government Affairs, State Director of Operations and non-profit CEO in Oregon and Washington State. Bob has handled cases before the State Supreme Court, Court of Appeals and Federal District Court for two decades and has experience as a Land Use Hearing Examiner and Court Arbitrator. Bob has worked with legislators at the Federal, State and County level in Oregon, Washington DC and Washington State.

A graduate of Gonzaga University School of Law,  Bob has been honored to serve as President and/or Board member with many non-profits in the Pacific Northwest, including the North Olympic Legislative Alliance, Youth Impact, Head Start, Pearl Buck Center, Springfield Museum, Dispute Resolution Center, Olympic Workforce Development Council, Family Tree Relief Nursery, DV Prevention Coalition, Lewis County Historical Society, North Olympic Peninsula Development Council, County Airport and Solid Waste Advisory Board.

With a son born in Eastern Washington, and daughter teaching in public schools in Okanogan County, Bob has spent many years working on issues in and connected to Central Washington.  He believes that by bringing a culture of membership service excellence to all we do, success is inevitable.  


Chelsea Snodgrass

Chelsea Snodgrass, a Yakima Valley native, joins CWHBA as the Public Relations Director, bringing ten years’ experience working with trade industries. Prior to CWHBA, Chelsea was the Director of Career Services at Perry Technical Institute, where she produced employer events and collaborated with industry partners to increase employment opportunities for students and alumni. Chelsea is a Central Washington University graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree. She is married (Joshua) with three children (Macy, Liberty, and Scout). As a family they love to junk hunt – bringing new life to items by upcycling and repurposing.   


Emily Jameson

Born and raised in Yakima, Emily Jameson brings more than a decade of strategic non-profit leadership to her role as the Membership Director. After returning to Yakima in 2015, she has served as Director of Donor Development at Heritage University, and Director of Institutional Effectiveness at Perry Technical Institute. Emily cut her professional teeth in Portland with an Insulated Concrete Forms manufacturer and is happy to be back in the building and trades industry.  She holds degrees from Trinity Western University (BA) and Eastern University (MA) and is the proud mother of a little boy obsessed with heavy machinery. 



Ashley Brown

Ashley Brown joins CWHBA as the Finance Director, bringing 5 years of experience from the public accounting and non-profit sectors. Prior to CWHBA, Ashley was the Finance Director at the YWCA of Yakima. Ashley has knowledge in non-profit accounting, tax accounting, bookkeeping, budget creation and grant compliance. Ashley graduated from Montana Tech of the University of Montana with a Bachelor’s of Science – Accounting degree and is also a licensed CPA in the state of Washington. She is married (Dustin) with two boys (Gabriel and Harvey Jack). In her free time, she loves a good craft beer and being creative through building and painting furniture.  


Ashley Ferreira

Ashley Ferreira joins the CWHBA family as our Administrative Specialist. Ashley comes to us from Disneyland Resort, the Happiest Place on Earth where she helped make dreams come true on Main Street U.S.A and as a Reservation Sales Agent. She is also a graduate of Northern Arizona University where she assisted incoming students create schedules, plan out the next four years, and transition to life in college. As a Hawaii local, Ashley loves exploring Central Washington for new adventures and a good place to eat. Through Ashley’s education and experience, she is excited to bring a positive spirit and create magic for a new kind of family.
