CWHBA Young Professionals Council

Find YPC events and meetings on our full event calendar.

Are you new to the industry, under 45 or just looking for the next step in your career?

Join CWHBA’s Young Professionals Council (YPC). The YPC will aim to become the primary resource for young professionals by identifying and addressing their interests, needs, and concerns while developing the future leaders of the CWHBA and facilitating open communication to and from all members of the association.

Professional Development

Enhance your skills and knowledge through year-round educational opportunities hosted both in-person and on-screen.  We offer monthly CWHBA Lunch & Learn classes as well as a wide variety of relevant workshops and seminars from the Building Industry Association of Washington and the National Association of Home Builders. You don’t have to grow your business alone.

Community

Get your name out there and build relationships with tomorrow’s industry leaders today by leading a workshop, volunteering, attending networking events, and joining the conversation about the future of homebuilding and the direction of the association.

Advocacy

Working together with your peers at CWHBA YPC, you will experience the way you can impact policy creation and you’ll always be up to date on legislative issues affecting the building industry.

The Young Professionals Council will identify and develop strategies to recruit, retain and engage young professionals within the construction industry. The Council also makes recommendations with regard to policy, programs and services including education, leadership development, new program development and any related activities that will enhance the experience of, and provide a community for, association members in the forty-five (45) and under age demographic.

Mission Statement

The Young Professionals Council (YPC) seeks to encourage young leaders to get involved and help continue the proud tradition of our association by identifying and addressing their interests, needs, and concerns while developing the future leaders of the CWHBA.
